In Response to Ashley Guidi

How often do you go into a supermarket and buy exactly what you need?
There are many times that I have walked into a supermarket and got more than that was on my grocery list. The main reason why is because of the advertising and where the products are placed. I do always fall for that scheme of grabbing some candy or just a pack of gum or magazine at the checkout counter. I have noticed that in most stores not just supermarkets magazine are always place right next to the check out. This is a great way to get customers to buy a magazine, what else will grab their attention when they are waiting in line. I find that when I’m waiting in line I grab a magazine start reading it and sometimes end up buying it because it becomes interesting to me. I have always noticed how the children’s cereal is always on the middle shelf. It is the perfect reach for your children, especially if they are in the carriage. It is eye level to them all they have to do is reach there arm out and put it I the carriage. I remember when I was younger It was a treat if I got Trix, or fruit by the foot and gushers. Walking down the aisle with all the fun treats was like walking into a candy store. Today a lot of times I will buy more than that was just on my grocery list is because I will see products on  sale or buy other things to eat that I haven’t thought of when I was  making my grocery list. The on thing I try to avoid doing when I do my shopping is never go to the grocery store hungry. When you’re hungry everything looks good and you will want to buy everything at the time. I have got myself doing this before and realized I had got way more than I need.
